Well the weather didn't cooperate and the Town Lake Heritage car Show was rescheduled for the 19th (from the 18th). So, 8 stalwarts of Scuderia Houston gathered instead at the home of Celeste and Dan Fritz to enjoy conversation and watching a DVD from the History Channel about the history of ferrari and Alfa Romeo. We then went to the French Quarter restraunt for a Cajun style dinner and more great conversation. Not quite what was planned, but still, a good time for all.
Our first event of the new Year. Saturday January 21, about 18 Alfisti and Fiat friends gathered at Ray's Auto Electric for a great tech session. After donuts and coffee, our host, Chris Newhouse, covered a wide range of topics including why and how one might use a relay to take the load off of a switch, how to clean up a switch that is functioning poorly, proper crimping, and a variety of other topics. Although Alfa'a were few in number, there were several very nice Fiats and a very interesting Renault. A big thanks to Chris for a very interesting and informative session.Check out the pictures in the panel to the left.
